The Live layer shows the options market as it trades, not only from the daily report. The LIVE button sits next to “Alerts” on the control panel and opens a slide-out settings panel. The layer exists for indices (ES, NQ, YM), metals and energy (GC, SI, CL, BZ, NG) and crypto: BTC and ETH are drawn together with CME data, SOL and XRP — with the Live layer only.
What the layer draws
- Per-strike histogram — call volume (orange) and put volume (blue) at the right edge.
- Walls and POC — the top three strikes by call and by put volume and the day’s volume peak.
- Premiums — strikes where the most premium traded (volume × contract price).
- Expected move — lines around price from the ATM straddle of the nearest expiry.
- Gamma — a profile by open interest: Gamma-Flip, gamma walls and the pin strike. An estimate: the dealer position sign is assumed.
- Max Pain of the nearest expiry by open interest.
- ★ Activity — the most traded strikes where the day’s volume is at least twice yesterday’s OI (new positions).
- OI inflows and outflows with premium. The strike is a pale dotted line; “strike ± premium” is a bright solid line for an inflow and a dashed one for an outflow.
- Volume bubbles — circles showing when and at which strike big volume bursts happened. Size is volume, orange is a call, blue is a put. Filters: number of bubbles, interval merge (5, 15 minutes, an hour), side, range from price (±1% or ±3%).
Modes
- 0DTE — the nearest expiry (for indices, today’s).
- Contract — the expiry of the contract selected in the panel.
- Week — all expiries of the next seven days together.
- Date — one chosen expiry; step through dates with the « » buttons.
In the info panel
A “Volume” block: calls and puts for the selected filter, P/C and the “usual” P/C range of recent days, plus the market volatility index and its one-year rank.
Crypto
For BTC and ETH the Live layer complements CME data. SOL and XRP have no CME data: the indicator works on the Live layer alone — histogram, walls, premiums, expected move, gamma, Max Pain and bubbles. On a thin market SOL and XRP may show few bubbles; far dates are visible in the “Contract” and “Date” modes.
Who gets it
A paid key and a trial on a real account. Free access and the lite version without a key do not include the Live layer. Free users get 7 days of full access (with the Live layer) for connecting Telegram.
