Most users do not need this. The OLIMP installer with “Easy setup + auto-update” (ticked by default) installs the OLIMP_Updater service, which takes care of server access — you do not have to enter the address. The manual steps below are only for those who unticked it, installed from the archive or do not want to allow DLL. Another way without WebRequest: Navigator → Services → OLIMP_Updater → Add service → Dependencies tab → “Allow DLL imports”.
Data is loaded by the service — a background program, not the indicator itself. For the service to reach the server, you allow network access to our address once.
- Open Service → Options → Expert Advisors (or Tools → Options → Expert Advisors).
- Check “Allow WebRequest for listed URL”.
- Add https://olimpex.pro to the list and save.
- Restart the OLIMP service in the Navigator.
No trading-account password is required — the service only downloads exchange data and passes it to the indicator.
